If you are visiting the opera house on the weekend or the evening, you need to enter the house through the underground drop-off and pick-up point is in operation. You can go there with a Taxi or bus quickly. You can use the commercial Taxi services of Sydney to go the Circular Quay. This place is a five-minute walk from the Sydney Opera House. There are so many public transports available in Sydney that will reach you to Circular Quay.
If you wish, you can avoid the public transportation or the commercial taxi services. If you have the Uber app on your phone, you can simply call a car to reach to the opera house. There is no need of bargain with the driver or something else. Everything will be calculated through the app. You can simply pay the charge with your Uber account.
There is also a complementary shuttle bus available to visit opera house. Keep in mind that seat of the buses is limited. This bus service is suitable for elderly and less mobile customers. The bus runs between Circular Quay at Stand B on Alfred Street and the Vehicle Forecourt. Please note that if you want to visit the opera house on a Sunday evening, there are no bus services.
